A Gallery in your Hands
I like large format books. I have been experimenting with larger format publications for quite some time. This is the latest iteration of my Tabloid Gallery format.. The ISCA book is for scale, and measures 210mm x 210mm.
Online galleries are fantastic, but I suspect we all agree that there is nothing like handling a picture in print or book form. Prints and books simply establish more emotional and natural contact through experiencing the size, weight and feel of the paper texture.
The PHOTO-GRAPHY project gives a regular offline ‘exhibition in your hands’ in the form of a newspaper, printed in a variety of sizes, ranging from zines to broadsheets. This addition invites readers to separate out the images and frame them for display on the wall.
